yes i know i am SO behind with blog posts (kind of a theme in my life i am aware…) so i am hopefully going to start a trend of maybe catching up on them this week!  yesterday i met with rachel and her parents and brother out at pullen park in raleigh for her senior session!  rachel’s mom used to bring her to pullen when she was little so this park has a bit of history for them!  the weather was GORGEOUS and while the park was Full we managed to escape the madness in a few spots and make it look like we were the only people there!  here are some of my favorites from her session!  love shooting seniors!!  <3

yesterday i had the honor of shooting kathryn’s senior session…. all shoots mean something to me.  but this one was both sad and beautiful…   kathryn’s mom, clay, is fighting metastatic breast cancer.  yet you haven’t ever heard such happiness and love in someone’s smile as you do when you are around these two… they’ve always just had each other.  and how lucky they are…  kathryn, i know your mom is SO proud of the young woman you have become!  you have been given a huge dose of strength and beauty from your mom!  your love for each other is palpable and i was blessed to have been given the chance to photograph the two of you!

i Love the session richie did with caleb!  so i couldn’t WAIT to do his book!  i was really happy with how it turned out and wanted to share some pictures of it.  if you know of any seniors who have yet to get their pictures done, please send them our way!  : )
