{ and a new jagg album option is born }

for the last couple years we have offered two types of albums…. coffee table books and professional albums.  we are now bringing a new type of album into the jagg family…. which we will call the “lay-flat album”.    its kind of in the middle between the big ol professional album (PA) and the simpler coffee table book (CT).  the pages are thicker than the CT but not as thick as the PA.  the cover is the same as the PA, with all the same leather color options.  the CT book has the custom photo cover, or a cloth cover, or a “leather-like” brown or black cover.  here are some pictures of the three kinds of albums.  included are a 10″x10″ 36 page PA (our sample album) in teal, a 8″x8″ 22 page lay-flat album (LF album) in camel (our summer session album from last year), and a 10″x10″ 20 page CT book in the grey fabric option.

the LF album (the top album in this image) also has the same option as the big albums of having square or rounded corners. i ordered this one with rounded corners. our sample PA has square corners.

the image goes right over the middle seam. this makes the pages not want to lay Totally flat, but its not annoying or anything, they just don’t lay totally flat like with the PA.

here is the big daddy… the PA. the pages are much thicker than the other albums. this is a total love. <3

 

this is a tiny seem space with these albums, but it also allows it to be totally flat pages. it also prevents the pages from cracking down the road because you’ve looked at the album like 18 billion times. i haven’t ever seen any pages on any album/book crack in the middle but i do know its not unheard of.

 

ohh be still my heart…. for two reasons… 1- i LOVE jess and kyle… and 2- i LOVE two page spreads!! i don’t get to do them often due to the shear number of images our clients request in their albums, but when i can, i am SO all over it!!

 

and this is the CT book. thinner pages than the other two, but not like paper-thin.

yummy yummy wedding albums……   <3

last week we got in our two most recent wedding album orders! mary & chip and lauren & jordan!

 

these are both 30 page 10"x10" professional albums. one is white and one is kiwi (my most favorite album color!). both choices were perfect for their weddings!

 

here is a close up of the two different page corner options... square vs round.

coming shortly is a blog post about a new album option we are offering… a middle type of album that is between a coffeetable style and the professional album.  this “middle” album type will be Perfect for parent albums!  : )

i’m happy to finally post up some pictures of what we send our clients after their wedding!  included is a CD of all their wedding images in a cool metal case, and then a couple gifts from us…. in this box we sent yasmeen and alex a bitty accordion album (i LOVE these little things!) and a “JAGG-stamped” bag of chocolates!  also in these packages are a packet of info on choosing images for their album… this part (the album image choosing) is HARD so we do all we can to make our clients informed and to give lots of advise!  we change up our boxes some as the year goes on, so if you are an upcoming couple of ours your may not look Just like this, but guaranteed theres a lot of love that goes into every box!!

happy friday everyone!!  i wanted to post some pictures of our latest engagement album!  this is the coffeetable album that comes with our JAGG session.  we LOVED this session with bethany and david!  we had such a great afternoon at the new  pullen park in raleigh!  we can’t wait for their wedding in april!!!

whew!!  the album orders have been coming in like CraZy this winter!!  while creating an album is lots of hard work and patience and takes some time, we are always in love with the results!  here are some different kinds of albums we’ve gotten in this winter…

the colors of these albums are "kiwi" (the green), "hydrangea" (the blue), and a black.

the top album is a 10"x10" and the bottom album is a 12"x12". while two inches difference doesn't Seem like a lot, it very much is when it comes to albums!

woohoo! we made the final page of lauren and ryan's album! we LOVE that!! <3

we offer square or rounded corners on album pages. these are rounded. (obviously... ha)

these are three 8"x8" coffeetable parent albums in brown. these are exact copies of the main album, only smaller. we offer these in brown or in black.
