courtney and jeff… engaged… downtown raleigh….  can’t be hatin an engagement session complete with a “love” wall and a random heart-shaped rock find AND getting kicked out of a parking deck!  totally worth every second!  courtney and jeff, we are so very much looking forward to your wedding next year!!  we had a fabulous time with you guys at your session… we group of rebels….  *wink*

lauren and reid… engaged… georgetown va….  this past weekend we made the drive up to georgetown va for lauren and reids engagement session.  we had gone back and forth over location and the decision to hang out around georgetown Couldn’t have been better!  it was a Gorgeous day, the leaves were perfect, and reid was…. um… not very into the love pictures.  but he knew this was what lauren wanted and he obliged most of the time!  he made my face hurt from laughing the whole time.  i have to say… reid made us work for our money on this one!  ((love you tho reid!!!))  we hope to photograph their wedding in the dominican republic next november!  lauren, thank you for the Wonderfully Scrumptous rice krispy treats!  and for letting us spend the night with you guys!  we had a Blast with you!  here are some of my favorites from the afternoon!  reid, i hope you don’t mind me posting these PDA pics!  xxoox

after spending some time in the park, and then walking down thru the most perfect little neighborhood streets, we visited a spot they frequent often, baked and wired.  if you are anywhere georgetown, you MUST stop in and have a cupcake from this shop!  AND a hot chocolate!  MMMmmmmm…..

erin and brad…. engaged…. this post is bittersweet for me.  we LOVE erin and brad!!!  but unfortunately we aren’t available on their wedding date…  ***big sigh here***  but we did get the chance to shoot their engagement session and we had a Fabulous time with it!   brad is a hockey player so we got to incorporate that into the shoot as well!  the weather was perfect.  the two of them are perfect together.  it would be even More perfect if we could share their wedding day with them up in new york!  here are some of my favs from their session…

april and darryl… engaged…. yates mill park, raleigh….  we met april and darryl out at yates mill park south of raleigh last sunday!  richie and i have been in raleigh for over a year but we haven’t heard of this mill before.  but it seemed like everyone else had!  there were photographers Everywhere out there!  combining some Gorgeous weather and a super cool location, i guess we weren’t the only ones who thought that afternoon would be a good time for a few photos!  but we seemed to squeeze in some spots and make it look like we were the only ones there! haha!  april and darryl, we had a Fabulous afternoon with you two!!  we can’t Wait for your wedding next year!!!

kacia and andrew…. engaged…. durham nc…. FINALLY got to meet these two!  seems like we have had them booked forever but haven’t gotten to meet them yet!  originally from green bay, kacia and andy have been all over the map living in different places, and now they are finally settled down together here in durham.  their engagement session friday couldn’t have been more perfect weather!   i totally enjoyed hanging out with them a couple hours downtown durham!  we def look forward to their wedding coming up next spring at high grove!!  kacia and andy, here are some of my favs from your session!  <3

lauren and jordan…. engaged…. BOSTON MASS….  so besides italy, this is as far as we’ve gone for an engagement session!!   lauren and jordan are getting married in chapel hill, where their families are from, but when they came down for their engagement session a couple weeks ago, it was during that lovely rainy period and we had to reschedule.  but when i heard they lived in boston, my little ears perked up and i said “lets go to BOSTON!!”.  and thus began our journey as we drove to richmond for brittany and danny’s session (posted below) then drove to DC and caught a flight to boston where we got to stay two days!  the weather, again, was not looking good.  70% chance of storms… chilly… not looking good.  but then, the clouds parted and it warmed up and it did NOT rain!  woohoo!!!  in fact, we couldn’t have asked for better weather!!  we had a GREAT time with these two as we toured around boston!  they guys have “it”… that “it” being a true connection to each other… the way they hold each other, the way they kiss, the way they laugh together… so it was a Pleasure to shoot them!  lauren and jordan, can’t wait for your wedding next june!  and thank you for letting us come to boston!  we had a Fabulous time!!  hope you love your images!!!  <3

brittany and danny….. one year anniversary….. richmond va…..  word of mouth brought brittany to us.  she and danny were married at the outer banks last october and this past FEBRUARY brittany contacted me asking if we could do a one year anniversary session for them in october.  and it worked out perfectly!!  exactly one year after they were married, we met in downtown richmond and did a session with them.  they were SO much fun!  my face hurt from laughing so hard the whole time!  brittany and danny, we had a GREAT time with you sunday!  and we DEF want to come back up and have dinner!  soon!!  we hope you love your pictures!!  xxoo, jamie and richie
