yes we are photographers.  yes we have a BIG ol family.  and therefore people assume we do pics of our kids ALL the time.  but we don’t.  we do it about once a year…. MAYBE twice.  its HARD!  its hard for us to all be together at once.  its hard to coordinate outfits.  its hard to keep them in one SPOT for more than two minutes.  its ESPECIALLY hard to shoot lil zackary who has decided the camera is NOT his friend.  whats NOT hard is to see the love we all have for each other.  its not hard to put smiles on their faces.  its not hard to see that they love nothing more than to just be together….  so we headed out last week for our summer shoot, armed with about four cameras, one yellow chair, and a bag of skittles.  so let me show off our family…. summer 2011. <3 x 8

in birth order... we start with #1, maegan. 14 years old. half of the mother hen team, along with her sister britt. starts HIGH SCHOOL this fall!! ahhhhh! : )

#2, britt. ALMOST 13, going into eighth grade this fall. shares a love with mae of cupcakes. they have their own business, With Icing On Top Cupcakes, which is in their second successful year! these girls know how to bake!! and how to look gorgeous doing it! : )

#3, brennan. ten years old, going into the 4th grade. loves legos and soccer and LOVES being a big brother to lil Z! he and josh love to make Z laugh like no one else can!

#4, josh(uwa). ten years old, going into the fifth grade this fall. loves anything related to the computer or play station. every morning i can guarantee to wake up and find him and bren on the play station and zack thinking he's playing right along with them!

#5, jaden. ahhhhh my sweet jaden.... our free spirit, our miss confidence. our miss makes-a-friend-everywhere-she-goes. eight years old. going into the third grade. LOVES dance. her teachers say she has a gift you just can't teach... CONFIDENCE. she loves to shine. she loves to be the center of attention on stage. i am SO proud of her!

#6, zackary. lil Z. mr. lashes guy. he's got a Natural gift to play soccer. he Loves to run. LOVES to be outside. LOVES "seekuls" (popsicles). he Loves his brothers. he's Adored by his sisters. as josh said a long time ago, "he's the luckiest one". in 20 days he will be TWO!

"da boyz". z "so" excited. he wanted a skittle. really badly. ;-)

and then theres US.... <3

i LOVE this man. he's made my life whole. and he loves me unconditionally. and he loves to cook. and he loves to build things. he's my soul mate and my best friend... <3

and now for the girl’s pics…….  we have been in this house a year and their room is still not really done.  they have some kick ass beds.  but nothing on their walls yet.  so i told them during this shoot i wanted to get shots of them for their walls in their room.  and we DEF succeeded in that endeavor!!   i’ll post pics of their room once we get to workin on it!  (still battling paint color choices)

one of my favs! love those bare feet! and their room colors are green and blue... hence the green and blue colors here.... yup, it's ALL planned out! : )

i don’t think anyone understands how close britt and i are… except britt and i…. (big smile)  -maegan

if you wondered why there aren't more of the six of them, its cause we are saving those for a surprise for the grandmas! : ) oh, and this was Rs way of trying to get zack in a mood for a picture! i love it tho!!

dawn and tim married | raleigh wedding photographer

dawn and tim…. married…. burlington, nc…..  last saturday dawn and tim were married at first presbyterian church in burlington.  i LOVE shooting at this gorgeous church!!  the inside is breath-taking.  the outside is amazing.  and dawn and tim had a Great group of friends and family who were SO great to hang out with!  their whole day went off without a hitch!  here are some of our favs from their perfect day!

dawn and tim did a "first look" and i don't think they would have had it any other way!! <3

dawn's mom is a minister and got to marry her daughter and tim! i loved that!!

their reception was held at the mosley center on elon university campus! the room was Perfect for them!

dawn and tim, we hope you had a relaxing, amazing honeymoon!!  we enjoyed working with you guys SO much!  we hope you love all your wedding day images!!!  xxoo, jamie and richie
