we’ve soooooooo needed to get these posted on our blog! our “new” service…. PHOTOBOOTH. aka “crap load of fun booth”!! after working out all our bugs in the system, we are now officially unveiling our booth! basically, the way it works is we bring the whole sha-bang to your wedding reception and have atleast one photographer designated to run it, and atleast one (sometimes two) cameras shooting. the goal…. to have a crap load of fun!! : ) …and the booth isn’t just for weddings! it could be for birthday partys or corporate events or whateva!!
the current fee for our photobooth is $500. with that comes all the yummy stuff associated with the booth, and usually around 100 resulting images (depends on the crowd tho… the rowdier the bunch, the more the shots….) posted in a public online gallery on our site within one week of your wedding. from there, guests can purchase from us any prints they’d like to order! digital images of these shots are NOT included in the high-res CD of the wedding images. this is an entirely separate thing from the wedding package. also, with the fee the bride and groom get an 8×8 photo book of our favorite images from their booth. we try to get most of the shots in the book, but it totally depends on the number of images we love! ((ahhh, photobooth loooove….))
tyra and keith’s photobooth at their reception was BEYOND fun!!! that booth was jammed packed the entire evening! i ordered a sample book of their photobooth book and i am including shots of it below! we have put all our booth shots in a category at the top of our blog so you can go there to see lots of examples of different booths at the couple weddings we’ve had it at. jessica and kyle, and jordan and mindy will both have the booth at their way-fun weddings coming up in the next couple weeks so stay tuned for blog posts from their booths!

soooo yest we decided we had to play with flash. flash scares me to death. seriously. but we bought a few new things yesterday and said “heck with it! lets DO THIS!” so we headed out with my always faithful goodwill dress and went to an awesome abandoned warehouse just down the road from us… and despite the fact, as i’ve said a million times, i HATE being on the other side of the camera, these shots aren’t too bad i think…

so worth the effort it took to squeeze my body into this spot! i'm thinking "hurry up babe! my ____ is on some broken bricks! ouchy!!!"
and…. now….. for my most FAVORITE shot of the night!!!!!
and so i had to jump too… but gracious its hard to jump in a dress thats sweated to your bod and in heels on little bitty peebles… but here i go!!!

as alot of you may know, richie and i had to make a trip to memphis last friday to attend the funeral of richie’s grandfather. the funeral was sunday in the town of kennett, missouri, and while the reason we were there was very unfortunate, richie did get to take some time to show me around where his family grew up, and we got to spend time with family we don’t usually get to see much. you know the saying… families tend to only get together for weddings and funerals. we were glad, though, that richie’s family got to spend some time with zack and that we could visit with everyone, even if only briefly. this weekend zack turned 13 months old so we used the couple hours we had before we had to turn in our rental car to play around with some shots in downtown memphis! so here we are… and heres our little man… 13 months old!
first, though, i gotta post this adorable pic of z i took on the plane with the sweet iphoney!

right before our trip, richie sewed this sling to make it easier for us to carry Z around the airport! its just a basic circle, but theres NO WAY we could've made it without this awesome sling! and Z was pretty happy in it!! : )

Zs new trick.. he thinks you can't see him if his hand is over one eye. then he throws it down and we yell "PEE-PIE!" and he just laughs and laughs!
and now the wall series…. i saw this wall and i KNEW i wanted shots on it! so…. we got em! : )
while walking back to the car from “the wall” i saw this #13 parking spot and i had to get some shots of Z by the “13″! i could just eat this lil guy UP! i know i’m partial but hes just the CUTEST thing!!!

THIS is z... legs always crossed and dirt on his knees and toes... he's not walking yet but he's about the most efficiant crawler there ever was! to him, no need to walk when he can speed crawl everywhere!
and then… shots of us….. all we had was the 50 and we have a thing for the arm held shots! so these are pretty darn close up but my heart seems to like them ok! <3

i LOVE this shot of us!!!! even with my huge sunglasses, this is one of my all time fav shots of us!!!

we’ve been working our little fingers to death getting all tyra and keith’s 1500 wedding shots posted for them, that i Almost totally forgot to post some shots from her bridal session a few weeks ago! our original destination of the campus of UNC was detoured by rain, so richie and i headed to our FAVORITE spot inside… the cotton room! we got a few minutes of outside time before the drops came, so i was happy to get atleast a few outdoor shots before we headed in! here are a few of our favorite shots from her session…

the photobooth was ROCKIN at tyra and keiths wedding! pretty much if the question was “where is (insert person’s name here)???” the answer was “at the photobooth! again!!” : ) here are some of our favs…..

the instructions were for tyra to do the fish-reeling-in thing with mia... but somehow keith ended up with some guys finger in his mouth. love his look...

i think firecode says this is the max number of people inside the taped box on the floor.... just sayin.... : )
