just blows our mind this little man came into our lives, changing everything in every way….  zack is the happiest little man and everyone always comments about his constantly smiling face!  right now he says “ma” and “da” and while he looks Nothing like richie or me, he looks JUST LIKE his granda connie!!!   he eats EVERYthing you give him (and loves his right foot up on the edge of the high chair!), but his favorite food is bananas and he’s been known to put two away at a time!  he also LOVES his puffs!!  (gerber puffs)  z pulls up on Anything that will hold him, and we’ve caught him standing for a few seconds on his own, but he’s yet to take any steps…. but my guess is it won’t be long!!  he’s got two teeth on the bottom and most of the time he’s got that tongue stuck out and his shirt is soaked in drool!  he’s the droolingest baby i’ve ever known!  this past week we’ve been at pawleys island (tons of pics coming soon from that!!!!) so while we were there we took a few mins away from fishing and the ocean to get some one year old shots of our sweet lil z….  zack, we love you more than we could ever say!  and we think you are the most awesome little person we know!   he’s a little bit of me… and a little bit of richie…. and THAT makes him just the luckiest guy in the world!  happy birthday z!!!!  <3

today… zackary cole staggs turns ONE YEAR OLD!  this past year has been so full of things happening in our world, the time has just Flown by!  but our lives couldn’t be any better with this lil man we all call Zman in it!  all the kids just think he’s the best little thing, and z just grins from ear to ear seeing any one of them!  this year, brit and josh are at camp for his birthday, so we had a little birthday celebration for him the last night the kids were together!  the girls all baked cupcakes for him and all this kids picked out his birthday presents!  here are some shots of his lil partay…..

today i got to travel to downtown salisbury to do an engagement session for kassie and trent!  its the middle of july, and we got a “middle of july” kinda day…. but one hot couple plus one hot day equals one HOT shoot!!  kassie and trent, i haven’t even gotten to go thru all your shots yet, but i did grab these as i went thru your downtown shots and wanted to post them up for you!  yeah, its 2:30am, but i just couldn’t help it… i HAD to post these!  more to come SOON… but it may be after we get back from our vacation next week!  thanks so much for braving the heat!  i had a Great time with yall today and i hope you had a FABulous engagement party tonight!!

so richie got to shoot the hoyles today as i mended here at home… and i am always so bummed when he loads up his shots and we look through them and i say “DANG that looks like a super fun shoot and i didn’t get to go!”   but richie had a fabulous time with this gorgeous group, and it definitely shows in their shots!  here is a sneak peak of some of our favs….

friday night richie and i got to meet up at UNC campus in chapel hill to shoot two Gorgeous sisters, julia and anna.  there was no lack of energy here, and while they did challenge richie and i a little, there was so much laughter and giggling and silly faces that we can’t say it wasn’t a Super fun time!!  little julia is such a ball of happy energy… so playful and independent, and Very smart!  but she was a camera avoider and wasn’t too impressed with our camera!    big sister anna was so sweet with her little sister, and so patient with her sillyness… you can certainly tell there is a huge bond between these two!   after some shots around campus, we hit up “sugarland” for some gelato, the girls first time experiencing gelato!  here are some of our favorite images of these beautiful girls….

and then we were off for gelato…. Mmmmm……
